On 14th March, Antonius Raghubansie, Vice Chancellor of Keele University in UK, and his entourage visited the university and visited CDUTCM-KEELE Joint Health and Medical Sciences Institute. Zeng Fang, vice president of the university, attended the communication event, representatives of Keele University program, relevant persons in charge of the International Cooperation and Exchange Office, Academic Affairs Office and CDUTCM-KEELE Joint Health and Medical Sciences Institute of the university participated in the event.

At the meeting, Chen Yuan, Director of International Cooperation and Exchange Office/Dean of CDUTCM-KEELE Joint Health and Medical Sciences Institute, warmly welcomed Antonius Raghubansie and his delegation and introduced the overall situation of the institute and the university. Antonius Raghubansie introduced an overview of the University of Keele and highly praised the running progress of CDUTCM-KEELE Joint Health and Medical Sciences Institute.

 Li Yan, deputy secretary of the Institute, and Chen Yunhui, deputy dean of the Institute, introduced the student support services and the teaching and research affairs respectively. Both sides had a thorough discussion on the summer study tour to the UK for excellent students from CDUTCM-KEELE Joint Health and Medical Sciences Institute, research cooperation projects, teacher training plans, and other contents, and looked forward to carrying out more in-depth exchanges and cooperation in the future to promote cultural integration and academic mutual learning.

In the afternoon, Antonius Raghubansie and his delegation visited the experimental teaching center of the university accompanied by Hu Yimei, the director of the Academic Affairs Office. They gained a detailed understanding of the teaching facilities of the jointly-run major and also visited the university museum, the college teaching building, student dormitories and other places.

Keele University is a British university which started the dual-degree talent cultivation mode and overseas exchange and cooperation earlier in the UK. The visit laid a more solid foundation for future educational exchanges and scientific research cooperation of CDUTCM-KEELE Joint Health and Medical Sciences Institute, which will help to promote the construction and development of the Sino-British joint school of our university.
